This has been my busiest week for a while, working on garments for a mother-of-the-bride & a mother-of-the groom - including stitching 15 bound button holes and pleats too numerous to mention!

Today was the third week of our dressmaking course with these lovely ladies progressing well with their garments - one lady is even cutting out her second pair of pyjama trousers.

Today we were sharing our venue with the ladies of the Mid Downs Lacemakers.
There was some beautiful work being painstakingly crafted - one piece had taken over two years to complete.

This delicate lace boarder was stunning.

These poppy heads will form part of an art installation to be displayed in a church in Croyden.
This afternoon I ran a short millinery workshop for these ladies who will be heading off to Ascot at the end of the month.

Stunning creations
Time now for sitting I'm the evening sun with a glass of something cold!
